Having, Doctor's, Their, against, anyone, happen, placenta, previa, wishes



Question by happy mommy of 2: Has anyone had sex against their doctor's wishes while having placenta previa? What can happen?

I guess I should have brought this up more with my doctor, but it didn't sink in until the next day. I was told to not have sex for a month! I was dianosed with complete placenta previa. I'm finally out of my first trimester and was looking forward to the higher sex drive and not feeling so gross.

Has anyone had an issue with it?

well, you can risk seperating your placenta from your uterine wall, possibly resulting in bleeding to death...both you and your baby. So if you have complete placenta previa...I would highly suggest against having sex at all....and you'll also end up with a c-section due to the same reasons...
it is a VERY serious condition and nothing to mess with at all!!...looks like sex with be on the back burner for 9 months, unless you want to take those risks....
